Weiler Jiu-Jitsu Fighting Systems teach, train, and compete with full body
submissions as our focus.
We prefer to finish our opponents by submission rather than points if possible.

Bruce Weiler - head instructor at Weiler Jiu-Jitsu Fighting Systems has trained in the grappling
arts for over 20 years.
His main focus in recent years has been Submission Grappling and
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (in which he holds the rank of Black Belt).
His lineage in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is Mitsuyo Maeda-Carlos Gracie Sr.-Carlos Gracie Jr.-Adilison "Bitta" Lima-Marco Nascimento-Bruce Weiler.
His background includes Black Belts in Fudoshin Jiu-Jitsu, Freestyle
Jiu-Jitsu, Drury Jiu-Jitsu, as well as several other classical martial
arts.
He has cross trained extensively with many Freestyle and Greco Roman
Wrestling champions and several Muay Thai / American Kickboxing
coaches during
his time in the Army.
Other interests include knife fighting and training in Floro Fighting Systems
in which he is a certified Instructor.
He and his team have competed in numerous events including:
The Extreme Challenge
The Indiana Mixed Martial Arts Challenge
The Bermingham Grappling Challenge
The Arnold Classic
The Mid-West Jiu-Jitsu Championships
North American Grappling Association (NAGA)
And many other smaller venues.
As coach, Bruces' main focus is to make you the very
best grappler you can be, both gi and no-gi.
Group classes are available.
Private lessons are available by appointment.
Bruce offers both intensive training programs as well as seminars abroad.
